Found a light caving

I read somewhere the phrase: "cavers rescue spelunkers"...

It's just ego. It's a way for someone to expressed their ego - "I am better than you.".

They are really all the same.

Ha, if you're running primaries you'll burn up more money on batteries than the other light was worth! :nana:

I was being sarcastic, If I was in that situation I'd find myself a headlamp and holster my field knife
Besides...one of those two M6s is currently not operational, and I do not expect it to be operational.

isn't spelunking like sprinting through a cave as quick as possible to escape as quick as possible? Not the best flashlight but then again not everybody is 'enlightened'.

Although we are getting a bit off topic, one should always move carefully through a cave. Jumping, running, etc are seriously discouraged because an injury like a sprained or broken ankle that would be a nuisance above ground could be life threatening if it happens hours into a cave if you are not able to get out under your own power.

Cave rescues take a VERY long time and it would really stink to die of hypothermia just because you tripped while running or fell while jumping when you could have walked or climbed carefully.

And to keep this post on topic . . . . .even if it was not a life threatening cave rescue, it would also really stink to have the crappy plastic flashlight you took out of the kitchen junk drawer die on you while you were waited many hours for a rescue party to come.
