That is a great looking light! I shudder to think what the cost would be if the body was Damascus as well.
Did Mac himself make the body?

Now that's a rare bird there. I too have never seen one like that. Looking forward to more pics.

I've only ever seen one other "long" Tri-EDC. That's a fantastic piece of history there! Best of luck with your sale.

Curious on a few things.

What at does this head operate at ? Max Voltage?
Will it run on a single 18650? I assume at a lower output!?

thanks Carey

Can't speak for the OP but my best guess is that the LE uses a Lux-RC 33x. The 331 had an input range of 3.3-6V; 332 was 4.8-9.5V; while the 333 and 334 are both 2.5-9.5V in. Mac used the 332 or the 333, I can't remember which. If I'm correct then you can run it on two rechargeables for max output or one rechargeable for longer runtime.

That 18650 body is gorgeous!

Im not sure which board did Mac use. But it dose run on either 1 or 2 rechargeables. And when running on two, the output is brighter than a normal Tri-EDC.

Sounds like the Lux then. Would be able to tell for sure if I saw a picture of the front end.

If I could afford it I would absolutely make an offer on the body. Kind of surprised no one has jumped on this already. Thanks for the pictures :)
