Stabilized binocs have been a guilty pleasure for me but I just can't justify the price. When I was considering seriously considering a pair the Canon 15x50s got my attention. I have no idea how the optics compare to Fujinon stuff. Being a niche cool toy for me I didn't get to comparing the Canons to anything.
Yes, works just like it did when new.
Need to change the batteries about once a year.

We also have a pair of Canon 8x20 IS binoculars when the 14x40 Fujinon is too much.
The Fujinon has a wider range of stabilization than the Canon's.
Mostly use the Fujinon on the boat and the Canon on land.

As a side note, we purchased both binoculars about the same time.
The Fujinon is almost the same price it was then, but the Canon has doubled in price.

^ Canon 10x42L is the darling of the Canon IS line. I have been using Canon 10x30 for 20+ years and just bought the 15x50 two weeks ago.
10x30 will still be the most used as 15 power is a bit much for terrestrial but great for astro. I would like to try some Fujis but went for the 3+mm exit pupil on the 15x50.

Sure is. The optics are as good or better than the likes of Swarovski, Zeiss and Leica etc but when you add excellent image stabilisation it just blows everything else away.
I like standard binoculars but IS takes things to another level all together.

I have an 8x42 Nikon binocular that I got for the wide angle and the optics are great but only out to about 75% to the edge. I knew that though, they were only $150. Canon have all kind of IS now. I wonder what some of those smaller ones are like.

I have both canon 10x42L and fujinon 14x40. They are very different. The fuji is by far darker so they are pretty useless at night. Also I much prefer the optics of the canon, it is on par with leicas. So I have ended up using the canon 90% of the time.
But 14x is a big advantage over 10x when you need it and stabilization is also better in the fuji.

Comet Lemmon now visible in Nikon 8x40, impressive in Canon 10x30 IS and "WOW" it grew a tail in Canon 15x50 IS.
