Fun new toys!

Howdy, Folks...

Just wanted to get some general opinions on a couple of new gadgets I picked up today. First, anyone have any experience with the Gerber Micro-Lite? It's the cool, little tool with the LED light in the handle shown here:

I got a good deal and am thinking about changing out the weak, orange LED for something better (for me)...maybe red or blue...

Next, any comments on the Columbia River (CRKT) Carson F-4?

This will come in handy for quickly opening boxes at work...or cutting parachute lines in case of a lineover malfunction. Anyway, I couldn't pass these up...I'm a sucker for flashlights and gadgets like the rest of us here. Next purchase will be the Kershaw Chive with green annodized handles. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I've got several of the CRKT/Carson F4-02s. I like the design alot, Cold Steel has a similar one with a drop point blade that I like also: the "Pendelton Mini Hunter".

keep moisture off the blade, bead blast will rust up like a coleco. get some tuff-cloth or marine tuff-cloth.
