Fenix L2D is one of the most recent light, with 130 lumens with just 2 AAs. Is this the max output 2AAs can dish out? Will there ever be a small size 300+ lumens flashlight that runs on cheap batteries like AAs??!?!?!

When we learn how to increase the efficiency to a level where practically none is emitted in any form except for light!
(ie: not in heat)
