G2 carry options...

Is there any way to attach a lanyard to the Surefire G2? The G2z has a metal loop that looks to be an attachment point...can you buy this? What about a pocket clip? I really like the light, but need a better way to carry, other than a nylon or leather belt holster. THANKS!

The metal loop will work if you shorten the tail cap. Otherwise you can't screw it down to constant on. (at least on the ones I had) I traded them off when I got the G2Z.

My Surefire lanyard works great with my G2-BK. The tail cap will still screw all the way down for constant on and I did not have to do anything special to the tail cap.

Pahl has it right. Both my G2s have lanyard rings and both work fine.

Maybe the first G2's were set up to utilize a bezel lanyard ring (which is included with some lanyard packages) but both of mine utilize tailcap lanyard rings without any complications as well, the light has the tolerances to include the tailcap lanyard ring built into the design just as the P6.
