g2 tail cap on 6p body?

Will this work? This is a minimum weight built and I figure its lighter, easier to handle in the cold, and more impact resistant than the z41. Are there any drawbacks to this? I need the 6p body for heat management. Anyone have a picture, if it works?

Surefire sells the same upgrade switch for both models, it seems that a G2 tailcap should work on a 6P body with little to no difficulty.

Yes, it'll work. The G2 has a slightly smaller inside diameter and the negative contact on the G2 tail cap is slightly smaller in diameter as a result. Some have reported issues where the light will flicker on before full contact is made, but, I've never experienced this.

Oveready also sell their Diamondback delrin cap for metal lights which accepts the McClicky switch. They also do a delrin bezel ring. Both would be good for your minimum weight build.
