Gear Question

I was in class yesterday and the teacher showed this picture:

He asked what type of gear it is. I said helical bevel gear, but he said it's actually a spiral bevel gear. I have been searching online and can't seem to find a difference.

Anyone know?

That looks more like a helical worm gear of some sort?

The definition of this 'spiral bevel gear' says it's a bevel gear with helical teeth. I'm just wondering if the terminology is interchangeable.
