I bought my brother a similar tool several years ago, I can't remember if Gerber made it or not. His is almost identical to this one, only it had plier jaws instead of scissors. My brother was very pleased with the one I got him and I think he still carries it on his keychain today.

For the price, I'd say it's still worth it, especially if you don't carry a SAK or other multitool in your pockets or on your belt.
