I've seen people put glow in the dark rings on the little gap on the E2DL head, and I wanted to know what size ring to use?

I found some @ lighthound, and I wanted to add some to my order while I'm getting other stuff.

Anyone know? It looks like an inch, but I wasn't sure how it was measured. I feel like a retard. :sigh: Is it measured by the inner diameter of the ring? Depending on how you measure, it could be an inch, or maybe 7/8 inch.

My set of black o-rings from McMaster-Carr lists the decimal ID and the cross-section diameter of each ring, as well as the material (BUNA-N) which I think is the same as Nitrile. Doesn't really mean that some other manufacturer can't use other measuring criteria, like OD, or other measuring units, like metric ones.

Since this application isn't holding back hydraulic pressure, I think you probably have some latitude.

I just realized that I'm not really helping here... :ohgeez:

Ask Sigman (he sells them), but I seem to recall 5/8" works well for that.

The 3/4" o-rings will fit all E-series and L-series lights.

You can find them here http://www.lighthound.com/Glow-In-The-Dark-GITD-O-Ring-34quot-size_p_583.html

I have 5/8" glo-rings on almost all of my E-series LED heads. It doesn't need to be very snug, just tight enough so that it doesn't come of accidentally. This makes the ring nice and thick to maximize the glow. Too small and the ring will be stretched thin.
