Just got back from two weeks in Florida. Had a great holiday, but there was much to look forward to at home. One is my girlfriend, the other is a Wee Ti 80 that I ordered just a little too late to take with me.
I pretty much knew what to expect because I bought a Wee NS 80 for my girlfriend a couple of months back. Apart from being made from Ti, my Wee was additionally fitted with blue tritium locators.
My keychain was originally garnished with a Fenix P1D-CE, but this was bulky, and the anodizing had taken a battering. Trying to do my bit for the environment and my wallet, I have also tried to steer clear of primary-powered devices, so the P1D was retired from my keys in favour of the Wee Ti.
Curiously, the Wee Ti has a tighter beam than the NS. Being that they are physically identical, I can only assume this is due to a difference in the reflective properties of the material.
When the Ti and NS were lit up side-by-side, the Ti version was tinted ever so slightly to the blue spectrum, whereas the Wee NS, and my Raw Ti were tinted slightly to the yellow end. All three were white by any standard, but, compared side-by-side, this subtle tint deflection was noticed.
Being rechargeable, simple, tiny and ridiculously bright, the Wee Ti 80 is everything I could want in a keychain flashlight. Runtime? No problem! I carry a spare cell for that.
