The looks like the Nuwai Luxeon light that was discussed at length here a short while ago. Many of Brookstone's lights have been Nuwai's.

Not the TT (Twin Task) dash 2.

I didn't think TL2 looked anything like that either.

The TL-2 is a Xenon-only light. They have a Luxeon Task Light -- that's 3AA.

And the TL-2 LED has a Luxeon Star LED in it.

I thought the 3AA is the only one in the "Task Series" SL that does not have a Xenon bulb.

All the other ones, including the TL-1 and TL-2, are "Twin Task" meaning they have both a LED and Xenon.

Tactical Light (TL) Specifications and Task-Light/Twin-Task Series Specifications might help clear things up for you.

The TL-2 (Tactical Light) comes in both a xenon and a 1W Luxeon model. The TL-3 comes in both a xenon and a 5W Luxeon version.

These are not part of the Task-Light family despite the similar names.
