Good source for obscure fluorescent lamps?

Hello again CPF. Over the sink in my kitchen, there is a 2' long fluorescent light. Until recently, there was a F20T12 over it, but the ballast recently died. So, I went down to Home Depot and bought a shiny new strip light. This new one takes a F14T5 lamp. At the same time, I got a new overhead light. (Old one took 2 F20T12 lamps, new one takes 4 F32T8. Much brighter now.) My problem is I lamped the overhead light with Philips F32T8/850/ALTOII lamps. Now, the new light over the sink came with a lamp. The problem is that it is 3000K, and there don't seem to be any good places to buy a small quantity of lamps (1-2) without paying $5 for the lamp and $9 to ship it. I would buy a F14T5/850 locally, but no one seems to sell them. Home Depot only has a 3000K lamp, and Lowes only has a 3500K one.

Any suggestions? Thanks for the help, and sorry for the long post. I tend to ramble.

$5 for that lamp isn't too bad pending brand, etc. That's probably why the shipping is so high (also considering damage potential of one lamp).

Not sure where you are located, but try Candela @ 800 722-6068. They are based out of L.A., CA; but have locations throughout the US.

Just to clear something up, the F32T8 is the modern replacement for the F40T12 lamp, but they are not compatible. The F14T5 lamps are something I haven't heard of, but try a place such as http://www.bulbs.com or http://www.topbulb.com for those odd lamps and even standard lamps. I never looked at their shipping prices though.

It's a 2 foot T5 lamp. Non-Preheat 'updated' version. ;)

I ended up going to this neat place in Tucker called Atlanta Light Bulbs. Unfortunately, they did not have a 5000K F14T5 lamp (it is a special order item), so I just got a 4100K one. They had lots of other neat lamps there, too. I was also able to get a starter socket, so I could convert an old 2' long strip light with a bad ballast to preheat start.
