Just kidding. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Got a white EverLED from LED Supply today and put it in my Matrix headlamp. Impressive! Nice, strong white beam. I'll post some beamshots outdoors when it gets dark. The Matrix is set up with the right polarity. Matter of fact, the bulb holder assembly goes in only one way with the polarity done right for the EverLED.

Are you using the smooth or wide reflector??

I'm using the wide reflector. Wasn't able to get good beamshots last night. Will try again tonight.

You still have to be careful when loading the batteries, though. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I have a PT Solo, and it uses the same lamp holder/assembly. That is one thing about PT: they are consistent in design.

Aren't the Solo, Matrix and Predator the same light, just different colors? I was able to get a Matrix from Brigade Quartermasters that's black and sterile. No markings, no brand anywhere.
