Ever wonder where those message in a bottles go when tossed into the sea. I always thought it would be fun ad interesting to place a gps transmitter suck as the
SX1 Worldwide GPS Satellite Tracker with a seven year batery life into a otterbox waterproof case and launching it into sea.. The location and final destination could be tracked via computer on the devices location and final resting place. Expensive piece of equipment at $399 plus online tracking packages. Also would need someone with a boat to set it far out to sea. I thought if we had enough people to split up the costs it would not be that expensive plus might be pretty cool to see where it winds up.
Just an idea. Don's have any concrete plan yet just looking for ideas and possible interest. Let me know
