Great Idea for waterproof or resistant battery holder!

I had planned on using either

I am having second thoughts because its really rainy in north east FL. Do you have any ideas for making these more water resistant? or do you know of any cheap water resistant batter holders for AA or C?

Hi I have been looking for some time to find a waterproof container and the best that I have come up with is

inside this I use an 8 AA holder. There is a smaller version for which I use a 4 AA holder I have had them under water with no problems so far . I try to keep them out of water

You could just place one of those in a small pelican case. Line it with some foam padding drill some small holes for wires and seal it with silicone.

Try a outdoor store that sells kayaks. When I used to paddle whitewater we used a container that was as waterproof as you can get followed by something tarp like to wrap around. Even when I got knocked from the boat and trust me I took quite a few swims all was fine. Been a while since I paddled, so the name is escaping me.

Not quite sure what type of batteries you're looking to carry but a Pelican 1010 case seems pretty versatile and affordable. If you're carying CR123's they even have a pre-cut foam insert. Or you can just get the regular foam and cut it to your needs. Peace
