Snapped this pic of the dramatic pattern the laser makes when passing through a tiny hole in a small plastic plate. Notice the diffraction pattern in the middle. Laser made the hole in the plate itself.

80mW. It's the same GBS-80 I've used for the storm match pictures you can see in my other thread. Takes several minutes to 'punch' the hole in the plate.

its the basis of laser dynamic laser spectroscopy as far as i understand... i could be wrong though and getting some things mixxed up.
