H.A.L.O. mod?

I have had this light in my duty bag for about a year and I love the looks but the performance was not that great.It is the Galls H.A.L.O. and I am wondering if anyone has modified this light to LED or if it is even worth it to do so.It is such a great looking light that I hate to just not use it.Any suggestions on improving this light?I did a search and found many complaints on this light but no mods.If I remember correct I became frustrated with the tail cap not always working correct and the fact that it would sometimes turn on when I sat down with it attatched to my duty belt.Many times I attempted to use it and it was dead as I did not know it had been turned on inside the carry holster.Anyone make drop in LED that may work?Thanks in advance for any help....

Also if there is not an LED mod available can I improve the tail cap somehow?..I remember the light had a hard time with momentary on and I tried everything to repair it.Could not figure out why it sometimes worked and sometimes did not.I would love a clickie switch and some type of drop in module but I do not know much about this so any help would be appreciated..

Is this light so horrible that no one has considered it for a host?Anybody recommend a sandwiche drop in or anything better than it is?
