Okay, this is a practice post, but I'll try to make it entertaining.

I picked up my raw ARC LS bodies and CR123 twisties from my friendly neighborhood anodizer yesterday, and was impressed with the job that they did. The HA3 matches the finish on the First Run bezels pretty well, and is very even. The bodies had a matte finish, so I expected a slight variation in tint.

The first two images make the HA3 look darker than normal for some reason...

what is the price of anodizing a small piece of work? a guesstimate would be good, in cause i want things HA3 anodized in my area =D

Wow! Thanks for all the positive affirmation, guys. I really must thank Jets22 for telling me what areas to mask (besides the threads) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Other than that, all I did was make a few trips to the anodizer and wait. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The job, which included masking, setup, and sealing, cost $100 for 4 tails and 4 bodies. All they needed was a bezel to use for color matching. The shop foreman is a pretty cool cat, and he really seems to know his stuff.

Now I need to muster the nerve to modify Sam's circuit boards...
