Hi all, looking for info or leads on any hands free type lights. I've tried headlamps but which work ok for general hiking but I often need the ability to direct the light other than where I'm looking. Clip on type lights won't work for the same reason.
The only option I'm aware of is the First Light Liberator.
I can't locate one to test out and I'm unwilling to spend the money to order sight unseen. From pics and videos it looks a little on the big and unwieldy side but I think its pretty much what I'm shooting for use wise. If you have any experience with this light please weigh in as there is little info and reviews out there on it.
Are there any other products that have a similar concept? Even something like this Mechanix globe light but with an actual throwy beam instead of small leds might fit the bill.
Also I have come up with my own makeshift solution. Wearing my Spark ST6 360 headlamp on my wrist actually works quite well. The only thing I feel it is missing is some kind of one handed momentary on. Is there a way to adapt a pressure switch to work with this light? I could mount it to the strap running in between the web of my hand. I really have no idea if that is possible given its electronic switch and UI.
If theres another light you might think would be better suited to modify please let me know, but I do prefer the T form factor on my wrist.

Thanks for your time everyone.
