Has anyone tesed elite 1700's?

I got 12 elite 1700 for a mag hotwire. I have 8 of them through a break in on the c9000 so far and am getting some wild results. I did the break in at the 1700mAh setting. This is what I got so far:

After the first 4 got done I did a 1000ma discharge and they got closer together around 1850. The high one came withing 30mAh of the other three. The second 4 are still on a 1000mAh discharge.

Just wondering what the rest of you are seeing with new cells and after some use.

Because of higher test current the capacity is lower!

Min: 1542mA
Max: 1658mA

No. Those capacities I listed were from a break in charge. I did a 1000mA discharge after the break in and it got higher capacities than the break in. The 1634mAh one still stayed around 1650mAh at the 1000mA discharge though.

You may find the break-in improves the performance of some cells. It is not uncommon for new cells to need 5-10 cycles to be fully broken in and reach peak performance. Your 1600 mAh cell looks like an outlier though.

I know they need to cycle to get better.

It is just amazing me that these are so under rated apparently yet so inconsistent from the start. It would seam that they had no forming charge from the factory yet the still had some charge to them when I got them out of my 15 degree mail box.

How is it these have been out almost 3 years and no one has mentioned hardly anything about them.
