Heatsink copper quality

When I worked in a scrapyard, we separated what we called "electrical copper" that was supposedly very pure, from the other copper. According to Doug_S very small amounts of impurities can be detrimental to the thermal conductivity of copper.

How would one go about finding a proper heatsink material?
Will "electrical copper" have good thermal properties? (unfortunately I think it was mostly found in wires, not anything big enough for a heatsink)

Go with copper alloy 110, electrical grade. $42.13 for a 0.25" x 1.25" x 6' strip from Enco. Very high conductivity. Used for bus bars, contacts and the like.
