Hello CPF Friends,

I've been following on this site for quite awhile, marvelling at all the new changes in lighting (LEDs are my thing) and I thought I'd tell you "Hello!"

At the same time I'd like to give my thanks to all you folks who have so intently purchased and reviewed these lights for us all.:twothumbs Especially the folks at the LED museum and flashlightreviews.

Unlike a lot of you folks, however, I don't collect flashlights (usually try them out and lose them to the family...) and I have one I'd like to pass on to whomever is interested.

I usually only use lights for close-up work (I'm a clockmaker) or for long distance. The Inova X02 that I have is very floody and is too bright for close up work yet probably doesn't throw beyond 30 feet.

If this sounds like something you could use, please pm me and I'll send it off to you. I think it would be cool for it to go to someone offshore since I know they might have trouble obtaining/affording them outside the U.S.

Your friend,
Relojero

Howdy Relojero, and welcome to CPF,
Gee, for a first post, that is the kind of gesture I'd expect from a seasoned CPFer. I'll think you will fit right in here! I hope you enjoy your time on CPF, and I'm sure your friends and family will be happy with your interest in the newest lighting technology since it seems that they will also directly benefit from it. Happy trails.

Welcome to CPF Relojero!

That was really kind of you to offer a light. I think you'll fit right in.

Thanks Relojero, very generous of you :D! i will put the light to good use when i receive it, very curious also since i havent seen any inovas besides a microlight.

Peruvian market is more inclined on catering for cheap prices and quantity rather than quality, which makes very difficult for importers to try and sell good stuff, not to mention the high prices (because of taxes, fleets etc.)they are forced to charge to actually make a profit, which makes good products even more difficult to sell.

Now im off to do some homework and reading about CR123s ;)

Sent you a PM, thanks again!! :D

Welcome to the forums.
Thats a nice gesture to send it off. Myself I horde all of my lights... even the ones that I hate and have sitting in a bottom drawer. :D

If you have the time stop by at our Washington get together. (see my sigline) Further details will be posted ironed out soon.
