helmet mag mini mod

My first tourch project.

So I Grabed some bits from the torch site to build my helmet mounted torches, I already had the ni-mh rechargable batt's and the torches. if I had to buy them then it would have been cheaper to buy a proper light for my bike but at £40 total cost. I'm happy enough for out put to cost ratio

I'll test the rig out to night to see if it all works proper lol

I removed the do not remove tab 'cause it part of switch and I didn't want to the twist on switch any more because I've put on the button switch

the led plugged straight in

so did the new refector

one led is brighter than the other I've contact the supply to see what he can sort out

old inner tube and 2 cable ties hold it together with an elastic toggle to fix it to the helmet

one led is deffo brighter than the other once thats sorted it should be amazin

I've changed the way I fit them together very Jonny five in looks.

still not got round to testing them but they fiet well on the helmet total weight is 234g

That's a pretty nice setup. A little tip, a lot of users of the TLE-5EX take a couple of washers and place them between the module and the Mag for better heat transfer and performance.
