Help finding replacement clicky for Aurora M3-2

I own an Aurora M3-2 that I bought a little over 5 years ago. It is a simple two-mode, high/low light. Recently the light started flickering. Over time the flickering got worse until now I get nothing.

I cleaned all the threads. I followed all the instructions here http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?227518-LED-Troubleshooting-guide-(budget-lights), but nothing changed. The light passes the paper clip test so I believe it is the clicky - note it "clicks" fine, the light just won't turn on.

I'm having difficulty finding a replacement clicky. I'd attach a picture but I'm not permitted to include attachments, but it is similar to this one http://www.bestofferbuy.com/17mm-re...p-78547.html?zenid=ii5nr3cjiepokb1dvjiu6cdta7, except that mine has a blue-colored resistor next to the black button with blue, grey, gold and gold stripes.

Also, it is a forward clicky.

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

Try tighening the retaining ring and see if that will fix it. If not, find an after martket switch with the same OD and should only take a minute to swap.

I tightened the retaining ring as tight as could reasonably be accomplished, but that did not fix the problem.

Forgive me, but I'm not sure what "same OD" means. I tried looking around the DX site more and found a 2-mode clicky that looks like an even closer match to mine than the one I linked to above - http://dx.com/p/replacement-2-mode-clicky-switch-for-c8-flashlight-black-silver-green-219020 - but this one also does not have a resistor, so I don't know if it will work. The description says it's for a "C8" flashlight, but I don't know if mine is a C8 or not.

This light suits me just fine, so I'm hoping to be able to fix it rather than having to buy a new one

The OD was for the outside diameter of the switch. I was thinking that it was a standard switch and the modes were controlled by a driver in the head. If you put in a stardard switch, you would have high only but would make the light functional again until you find another 2 mode switch. Can you open the head and instal a 2 or 3 mode driver between the LED and battery contact?

Might be worth a trip to local electronics store to get another resistor and see if that would fix it.
