My grandfather had one that he would let me play with as a child. It's body was an off white. The switch and lens ring were a dark brown. The switch was three positions (up=constant on) (middle=off) (down=constant blinking). There was also a white switch on the back for the plug blades to extend out. It was very bright for it's time, had either a Krypton or Halogen bulb. It was maybe 8-9 inches tall and 2-3 inches deep but I don't have good spatial skills. It was a small lantern flashlight and it had a handle. It put out a very bright and powerful beam, but did not last long between charges maybe 30 minutess to an hour.
I last played with it in 1993 (I was 6), then my cousin was playing with it a while later and she broke it.
It would have been on the market as late as the early 1990's, but possibly as early as the late 1960's/early 1970s.
I have no pictures, model or brand but I am sure there are many sharp people on this forum who could point me in the right direction with a model number and brand name so maybe I could find on off ebay.
