Help needed with Ra twisty mod

Hi folks,

Turning to the experts. I have modded an 120 Ra twisty from P4 to an XPG2 LED. All has worked out just fine. LED installed. No shorts that I can find. Light turns on ok in low and medium, but when I turn to high, it does this low-to-high blinking thing and ends up on a high that is fairly close to the medium. I have done a factory reset where you twisty the head on quickly within 2 second and wait until the light turns off after ten seconds. Worked fine.

I just can't seem to get the high to work well.

I have cleaned out the switch mechanism as best I can and it does make contact sine when I get to high it does something, just not what I think it should do.

The other weird thing is that when I leave it on high, it does a double blink about every 60 seconds.

Any ideas?

My next step is to ask Henry. Not sure he will reply as I am modifying the light. Anybody seen this before?

Called and talked to Henry. Super nice guy and very helpful.

Narrowing the issue down, but it looks like a high resistance in the tail-cap. Will work on some more.
