Without a doubt go with the C2H. Upgradeable, small, very powerful, high quality, glow in the dark tailcap and o-rings.

If you want to go even smaller, look at the Fenix LOD or replacement for this the Fenix LD01.

I already have a fenix lod....I like the size, but feel its too small....need more output/throw....as for the following questions....

How will you use them? - edc, pocket carry flashlight, dog walking
Would you prefer a simpler user interface? - like simple, but no preference
Will you be using RCR123s? - no, just cr123's
Do you prefer throw or flood? - throw
Would you like to be able to set the output? - yes, but again will mostly use turbo/low settings

From what I've read, when running on CR123 throw ranked from best to least would be

Jet-II I.B.S.
EagleTac P10C
Fenix Digital PD20 Black Premium Q5
Dereelight C2H w/ 4SD-RD Cree XR-E Q5 (SMO & OP)
NiteCore SmartPD EX10


Runtimes on the Jetbeam and Eagletac are pretty low on CR123s, might not be long enough for dog walking. That Jetbeam has pretty inefficient circuit so dropping output doesn't gain you much but it does have the best throw by a large margin. P10C only has 2 levels which might not work well for you as the runtime on high is pretty limited. PD20 has bit more reasonable runtime while coming reasonably close in throw capability to the P10C.

You've made some good picks and I think the Dereelight would make an excellent choice, and it's actually very high on my personal want list. :twothumbs

Is the Dereelight the only light with a decent clip attached??
Just looking at the form factor....which light would feel like its not in your pocket, but still have the clip option?......

seems like the dereelight or the jetbeam would have the best output..... for $10 more is it worth it?
