I have the above PCB which provided balancing of cells.

I just built a 3p3s pack and wired this up and get no output voltage.
I tested all the input wires and it is wired correctly. I Tried a second PCB I have but same outcome.

Upon reading the product description it says
To achieve balance, each cell in battery pack must have equal voltage within tolerance of 0.2V. After charger LED turn Green, unplug charger and wait 30 minutes before use. This is for the pack to perform balance function.
Does this mean the pack is not usable for 30 minutes after charging or you should wait 30 minutes after charging?
I supose I will know in 20 minutes

Hello Packhorse,

You should be able to use the pack immediately.

The balance circuit has a maximum current of 42 mA. That is where the 30 minute balance time comes from. As the voltages of the cells get closer to equal, the current rate reduces.

You may want to check the voltage of each cell, and do another check on your wiring connections.

Yeah, I thought it would be something like that but still no output.
Wiring is correct and there is less than 0.1v between cells.

Im stumped.

"Problem" solved. Looks like it went into protection mode. I put it on charge and now works. I thought that since it had no output the charger would not "see" a battery connected and so not charge it. I was wrong.
