Hi
This is my first post and have found the site a great help, but also found that my knowledge of torches is severely limited.
I have x2 maglites. 1 x 3D and 1x4D. The 3D is a standard incandescent bulb and the 4D a Maglite led. Both serial numbers start with a D.
I am wondering what the best way to improve the output of these lights without a major mod. ie a drop in.
I am using standard D Cells. I do have a charger from my Radio Control days that can charge LiIO's, LiPO's, NiCads...
I have seen the Malkoff drop in that produces 260 lumens. Have also read the other threads and tried to understand Der Wichtel's kit. It seems that if you want greater lumens you need to run different batteries.
Could you recommend the best light output kit/drop in for D Cells please?
