Help With My Confusion

A couple or so years ago I bought a Romisen RC-F4 P4 flashlight. It has disappeared and I want to buy a similar light. There's a Romisen RC-F4 (no suffix) =>Here. At the time I bought, the P4 suffix indicated the LED used. A Q5 suffix was a brighter LED. I liked the little torch so I decided this time I'd get the brighter LED. But, the ad I linked to above does not have the suffix, so I went to the Romisen website. The confusion grew. They list the RC-F4 =>Here. The one I had and the one in the ad uses 123 lithium batteries -- the one on in the product detail (last link) uses AA batteries and says it produces 80 lumens. As I recall the one I had was rated at somewhere between 150 & 200 lumens. And, neither place gives suffixes so I can't find the Q5 LED.

Can anyone help me sort out this confusion?

Also, if anyone knows a similar but better choice under $30 please mention it.

What Battery do you exactly want to run? CR123 or RCR123 or 18650s? P4s and Q5s are kind of outdated nowadays. I'd go for an XP-G R4 or R5, but if you can get a S2 take it.
I'd recommend this one in the case that you again want a romisen. However, still personally i'd go for something different like an ultrafire c8 xm-l powered by 18650.

The reason I was looking for the Romisen was because I happen to have 4 CR124 batteries and they're kinda pricy. Assuming it's reliable, your suggested light looks like a better choice. Is =>this the one you're suggesting? The nomenclature is a little different so I just want to make sure. Also, are =>these batteries as good as any, that is, do rechargeables achieve maximum light output?

Yeah, thats the one i meant. It is basically a cheap light (build quality is ok, anodizing is also ok, but not top notch), but it's producing a lot of throw and it is very bright. I'd not take cells with overstated capacity, 4000mAh is an unrealistic value for a budget cell. something around 2.200-2.600 is more believable. But i have to say that i never had trouble with trustfire cells, also the gtl one's you get (6/ea for 20$ at fleabay) are fine. I had one of them shorted in a light and it was heating up, the light also was really hot, but it did not vent. the positive pole was kind of melted...

however, that ultrafire c8 is a nice light and for the money you can't go wrong, just get some cells that fit your budget (most here will recommend AW cells, which are pricy, but worth the money), i can't say something negative about trustfire or gtl and get a decent charger too. (dx sku 5790, 5837)

About how long should I expect it to burn on one battery charge?

On one charge...on high it will be depleted in around 50 minutes, but you can just switch modes and then it will last much longer. at work i use an ultrafire c8 xml for aircraft outside checks and work inside and i manage to get around with one cell for easily 2 weeks.
