I just bought the Turnigy Accucell 6 hobby charger after my second UF WF139 ruined some 18650s. I downloaded the manual but , I am having trouble figuring out how to set it up for what im wanting to do. I had a stroke in September and along with 50% right side loss im having some memory and comprehension of what im reading problems. I read and re-read the manual but its just not clicking.
1. Im wanting to charge one cell at a time, 18650 lithium ion's, by using magnets and clipping the charge leads to the battery. I may discharge once just to get an idea of capacity, but mostly will just be charging.
2. Im wanting to discharge and charge some nimh 10,000 mah D cells, 1 cell at a time. I have been setting my Vanson Speedy Box to always discharge and then charge but, these batteries have built up a terrible memory. I dont think the Vanson is discharging them enough and it is charging them to 1.46 volts. they are listed as 1.2 volt so i dont know if this has hurt them or not.
Im just not sure how to set the charger to do this, dont want to cause a fire or ruin expensive batteries. I know its alot to ask ,any advice would be greatly appriciated.
