\"Helping\" the Bubble Man.
So, I'm walking down the 3rd Street Promenade (pedestrian mall with street performers) in Santa Monica Saturday night, with my SF E2E in my pocket. There's a Bubble Man blowing nice fat bubbles of various shapes and configurations, some even with smoke inside, and he's lighting them up with a big 3D M@glight as they float around in front of the crowd. He's having a little trouble with a breeze, and some of the bubbles get away from him, out of range of the M@g, so I whip out my E2E to "help". I'm lighting these beautiful little creations up until they are thirty or forty feet in the air, but meanwhile he's trying to create another bubble and light it with his M@g while people are watching "my" bubbles. Next thing I know, he shoots me a dirty look that has the wicked digit written all over it and gives me a loud "Harrumph!" I extinguished my E2E and went on my way.
Moral: Don't upstage the Bubble Man with a better flashlight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
