High Power Blue LEDs

Anyone know where i can get a deal on some blue LEDs?
need quite of few of them.
so far i dont like the blue Luxeon K2 since its very inefficient and the rebel is just really hard to work with...

I believe the Cree XRE comes in blue, but I don't mod so I don't know where to get them cheap.

If you don't mind soldering the CREE, CREE should gives the brightest blue LED. 42 lumens at 350mA:

Alternately, edison-opto (or similar) gives a pretty good price/performance ratio as well. They are easy to solder:

I usually work with UV, IR, and white LED. Don't have much experience with blue ones, but they should work the same. There are cheap 1W lumiled type LED in blue that only goes less than a dollar each.

Kaidomain how much are they and where is a good place to buy them at?
i cant seem to find a place to get them.

my budget is probably about $6 per led at most...
if i cant find anything i'll probably have to go back to Luxeon Rebel. or the K2s
its not bad about $4 for 23 lumens/W with blue.

1watt from nanotuners isnt going to do a whole lot of me...

Rebel is really my last option...dont want to go to K2s again since they get really hot...and not that efficient.
