There is mention somewhere in another thread ( I'm sure it is the 4-7's Smart PD thread over on MP ) of small signal level switches being used to switch high torch currents, does that mean that all the Fenix (and others) lights also do this ?
ie Switch high currents through signal level switches.
If this is so, it is a definite plus point for the Smart PD System.
Perhaps it's not the LED life that should be important, but the switch life, ( oxydation / carbon deposits ) at high torch currents.
