highest quality COB's ?

Hi guys,

I have been messing around with XM-L2, and now "hungry" to build with a COB.

Can anyone tell me, as I have not followed, or understand lumen per watt on the graphs.. what is the highest efficiency COB's right now?

I'm looking for 100-150 watt chip, and highest performance is key for me. as I guess who would want a "worse" chip when there is better to be had now..


I saw the cree released the new COB, but not sure if there are more efficient ones out there, and before I buy, thought I would check in here first to see people's opinions, also wanted to try and squeeze a few more watts AKA more lumens from a chip, as the cree is 100 watt, and was wanting something a little more, but if it's the best one to go with, well I guess that will work too..

Hi friend

I have found CREE 3050 COB reach 100W at the highest current. The efficacy is about 95lm/W. I belive cree will have higher watt COB in near future. But now brideglux and citizen have 120W and 180W COB. I'm not sure it's their highest one. But they are really meet your target i think. PS, i wonder what's application ? Tks!
