This is my first post here. I've been doing lots of led projectsfor a long time. I hate
to think about the time and energy I've spent on these. If I can I'll post some pics of
projects past most still working after quite a few years of use.

I put together a headlamp using the ULM from Technology Associates. There's a picture
of it with some decent instructions if anyone is inclined to duplicate it on the Techass.com
projects page.

I wasn't too sure I would like the remote battery pack but this setup is so light I really
enjoy using it. The hardest part for me to make was the hinge assembly - I am not a metal
worker but I couldn't find anything ready made to work the way I wanted this to move. I was
also a bit worried about the small center conductor of the co ax (I believe it's about 24
gauge) but the ULM leads are as fine and it seems to work fine.

Welcome DanB!

Very nice mods. There are a lot of versalux fans here. They'll be drooling when they see these nice mods using the versalux module.

Drool!

Nice work. The Versalux ULM really lends itself to this type of app. Especially since it's dimmable. Keep the good ideas coming.
