Hey guys!!!!Just woundering, how do you identify a dying light? (i have an E2d) And when do ya know that it needs replacing. Also, just wondering if the juice of the batts will drain out if u keep the tailcap tight(my E2d has no witness marks and my friend told me that if u keep don't keep the tailcap in lockout position, it'll cost u a pair of batts). Thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif

When you notice your light getting dim and yellow it's time to change the batteries. Don't run your light until it goes out because that will shorten the life of your lamp. Also when you remove or replace your lamp don't touch the glass with your fingers because that will shorten your lamp life too. I clean my lamps with alcohol on a cotton ball when I replace them.

Your friend is in error. Your light will not drain your batteries when it's turned off unless it's defective.

Put it in a 123 LED light. i have been doing that with my ARC LSH-P's. VDG
