How do you install an IR filter on your laser?

There are threads here which tell you where to get IR filters, but there are no actual step by step guides with pictures.

The method would be different from laser to laser, so even a guide may not suit your needs entirely. My suggestion would be to either glue the IR filter with epoxy on the inside of the aperture over the hole where the beam exits, or on the outside (which is rather easy to do).
