How easy will it be to replace the U2\'s emitter?

Presumably sometime in the future, higher output/more efficient/whiter LuxV emitters will become available for reasonable prices. When that time comes, how hard will it be to replace a lesser performing emitter in a U2? Is it reasonably easy to get to?

The U2's bezel is sealed with thread locker, but if you can get past that (heat the bezel, strap wrenches, brute force arm power, etc.), the bezel does open. There are two joints that you can see, one is nearer the glass, and one is nearer the selector ring. Break it open at the one nearer the selector ring to get to the LED.

Based on pics from folks who have beentheredonethat, it should be a simple soldering job to 'field upgrade' the emitter.

I'm looking forward to my ZWAK Luxeon Vs. The only thing that could make an awesome light even better.
