Hi all,
Pardon me for the newb question. I spent the last two hours seaching the forum without an answer.
I recently jumped into the wonderful world of 4-Sevens Quark line having purchased an AA Tactical with an additional 123x2 body. My plan is to run 14500s and 17670s in these bodies.
I just received my AW protected cells today and am in the process of charging them on a Cytac charger from 4 sevens.
Dont worry, I'm following all the do's and dont's and checking voltage with a Fluke 77 before and after charging.
The 14500's and 17670's arrived with a voltage of 3.91. After charging on the Cytac for 108 minutes the green light came on and the 14500 cells had an ending voltage of 4.19 and 4.20, respectively.
Am I better off charging the cells individually or is paired charing OK on the Cytac?
Also, how long is it safe to leave a charge of 4.2V on a Li-ion cell? I read somewhere here that Li-ions should not be stored with a full charge or left depleted very long. Is a week or two of storage OK at full charge?
I'm loving the turbo output on the Li-ions. I just don't want to waste my new batteries by not storing them properly.
Thanks
