Can anyone answer this? I would like to go to home depot tommorow and get a piece if 1 inch pvc cut so I can convert my 3D to a 4C. If anyone has done this can you please measure the tube length so I can cut it at home depot. Thank you. I want to try my TerraLUX MiniStar5 SSC P4 U bin LED upgrade with the extra battery.

I just did this last weekend...Cut it 7 inches long. You want your PVC to be shorter than the entire length of the 4 C cells so the battery terminals can make contact at both ends. Actually, it should work without any pvc, mine did. I just put in the pvc for a neater finish. If you haven't done so already, go down to Radio Shack and get you a KPR103 bulb. It'll knock your eyes out on 4 C's!
