Hi
I was planning on building a bike light out of 3x1 inch aluminum tube. I wanted to drill 2 2 inch holes in one of the 3 inch sides for the DX reflector and mount the LEDs on the inside of the tube. The aluminum is .125 thick inches would this be enough heat-sinking for 2 P7s at 2.8-3 amps? Would I have to go thicker or find another method? Thanks for your help.
