I ran across this and was wondering if I can use a single, low amperage driver to power all the LED's. Was interested in making something like this for regular household lamps--which is plugged into a surge suppressor.

If I'm running multiple 5mm LED's, will the amperage be shared or split throughout all 10-15 LED's?

My initial goal is to wire them all under 1 strand to the driver's positive and one to the negative...Kind of like a master wire. I just don't know the amount of current these guys will all handle if I wire it all to one master driver.

I know for sure that this will not work as I will need resistors to keep them from frying.

The lighting modifications/products you're asking about or recommending are illegal and/or unsafe. Rule 11 of this board prohibits advocating illegal or dangerous activity.

If you're talking about household lamps, and will be running them off the 120V line, I think it's safe to say we don't need to worry about Rule 11.
