How to Remove HA on Arc LS?

Can any one advice me on how to remove the HA color on the Arc LS?
I would like to have it in Bare Al. So that I can replate it to other color.

By using sand paper?

It's easier. It'll take you forever if you use sand paper to remove HA3. Even 60 grit doesn't do much damage.

If you're talking about a rev1 Arc LS, it would probably be much easier to just post a WTB in the For Sale section asking for grey kit Arcs. No sanding or chemicals involved. Buy one that's already bare.

I used a steel wire brush with my DremelTool inside the bottom of an all-anodized twisty I got from JS Burly's. Worked great. But that's inside, I guess if you want "finished" external surfaces I would go with the .1 concentrate of lye talked about in the link.
