How to remove surefire 6P lens???

I know this has been covered before and i have searched alot and cant find this anywhere...Can someone please post a link or explain how i can remove a surefire 6P defender lens? I just ordered a UCL lens and have no idea how to swap them. Thanks.

The tricky search term is "bezel tool"

I used the needle nose pliers method

You can also coat your glass lens in some tape so if you slip with the pliers it's not damaged (I learned that the hard way).

Flashlightlens.com sells a little plastic tool to do this, pretty cheap if I remember right.

Go check out the Marketplace (and register if you have not do so already) and check out the Dealers Section for Stainless Steel Bezel rings. Usually the person will sell a bezel removal tool.

Since it's a Defender model, you might just be able to grip the strike bezel with a mouse pad or something and unscrew it by hand (depending on how much loc-tite was used upon assembly.

if it is the defender a pencil will allow you to turn the bezel...
