How Tuff is the Fenix TK60?

I'm thinking of buying a Fenix TK60 to rotate with my 3D LED Maglite. I keep 3D Maglites in all my vehicles for illuminantion and an attitude adjustment if the situation warrants it. I think the extra lumens will come in handy but I don't want it breaking or bending if I need to use it for unintended purposes. How tuff do you think your TK60 is? :thinking:

I have the TK41, which is the same light but shorter. I really like the TK41/TK60 design. The TK60 is about 5-7 inches longer, aside from that they are identical, except the TK41 runs on AA's and the TK60 runs on D's. They have the same UI and same brightness, but the TK60 has longer runtimes.

I think the light is very tough, but I dont use it as a pry bar either! It feels tougher than a maglight to me. Its heavier duty and thicker in some areas, but my Maglight is 15 years old, so I dont know if the newer ones are thicker or not. The LED will definitely not break or shatter like the bulb in a Maglight will. Thats why maglights have an extra bulb in the head.

I almost bought the TK 60 because of its great run time, but I was convinced that it is really long and pretty heavy, and that the TK41 is just as powerful. Not only that, but there is a new version of the TK41 with the newer XM-L U2 LED that bumps the brightness up to 860 lumens, but I dont know if there is a U2 option for the TK60(?) If you needed a tactical light that could be used as a self defense club in an emergency, either would work, but the TK60 would give more leverage.
