HS Hits the Clouds!!!

Hi all HID fans!!! I was just outside with my Havis-Shields HID light and it touched the clouds!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I was projecting images onto them......it was freaking awsome!!! I didn't actually think it would make it since the cieling seems normal tonight, but it's undeniable! There was someone with me and they couldn't believe it. Projecting images, hmm... it would be funny to project the Batman logo onto the clouds /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yellowlaugh.gif

Well, I don't have a bat symbol /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif


The only way I got the images to actually appear on the clouds was to put them very far away from the light itself. I was putting stuff in the top of a scafolding (SP??) and then beaming it. Worked surprisingly well /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

thats because reflectors converge the beam at a certain distance. Too close and it won't block the light. Got to get far enough past the donut hole and then some.
