Hugsby g3-1

I just bought a Hugsby G3-1 from a friend and I want to buy another one. I have searched the web and found a couple of places to buy them. I dont know alot about the different bulbs that are in these lights. One site says that the G3-1 has a Q2 led bulb and another site says that it has a Cree XR-E WC Q3 bulb. Both are Hugsby G3-1 lights. Does Hugsby put different bulbs in there lights that have the same model number?

No the LED is the same in them all. They all use a low flux bin XRE.

However you can get a much better light for that sort of money, even the Fenix E21 is in that price range! Whether youre using li-ions or just sticking with the basic AAA's there are much better options available, remember 2xAA cells carry the same power as 5xAAA's so 3xAAA is a cheap and inefficient system.

Pretty expensive especially for one with a even weaker P4 versus a better Q3. Even if it had a XR-E Q5 or R2 it is still a bit pricey for what it is.
