Hunting lights recommendation

Hi guys, I'm wanting to buy 2 lights for hunting they will be used to navigate through fields and thick woods to tree stands/blinds. Also for searching for downed game. I'm really new to flashlights so feel free to reject my thoughts.
I want a headlamp for walking out to tree stand and back.
I want a torch for searching for downed game.

After much research I'm thinking a Zebralight H51FW and a Fenix Ld25 or Ld40.

Would these lights go good together, for a floody and thrower. Also will the tint match well (there both nuetral led's). I have a fenix tk41 on the way but fear it will be too large and cool white for using during hunting. If I were to use that I'd probably want a matching tint headlamp right? I would love to keep the lights AA as I just bought a charger and eneloops.

My hunting headlamp is a Spark ST6-500CW; it is a multi-stage with high being 500 lumens. My hunting flashlight is a Surefire C2, bored for 18650 batteries with a Nailbender 750 lumen XM-L with 3-stage driver. Both headlamp and flashlight can opperate on one 18650 rechargeable battery or two CR123A primary batteries. I like having both platforms utilizing the same batteries....so no matter which batteries I have with me they will work in either light.

The headlamp works great when processing game as it leaves both hands free. The flashlight is very powerful and really helps to locate downed game.

Many of my hunting friends are using Surefire 6P's bored....with Nailbender XM-L drop ins.

How often do you find yourself using the spark on 500? Do you ever wish the dark was nuetral or warm compared to cool white? If you use the spark in conjunction with the surefire can you notice a tint difference, does it bother you?

For searching an area, you need a light with good spill and even beam pattern. Consider lights with OP reflectors as these are the best for these applications. (Ex would be the Klarus XT11, etc etc)

for searching a distance, get a good thrower light, with lux of at least 12k or higher.

for headlamps, you could choose some of the offerings of Zebralight.

I am leaving camp in the dark and returning to camp in the dark.....so I use my headlamp every day, twice a day. I only use the Surefire for long range spotting. The tints are very close. I like the pure white light since it has the most punch. I hardly ever use the 500 on the headlamp.

I have a LD25. It's a fantastic AA flashlight, and would fit your needs no problem. Relatively small and the plastic overmolded body is great for cooler temps.

I ordered 2 headlamps last night. Fenix HL21 for a work beater and a zebralight H51FW for hunting/fishing. Also ordered some sanyo eneloops and a single cell charger!
I'm really excited and now I just need a good AA nuetral thrower. I'm going to check out the fenix Ld25 and see what it's beams like and if it will accompany my ZL floody.

Wow! That's the same output as my TK41 and half the batteries. I feel like I made a mistake on the fenix!!!

I fired up my old Maglite 3 D cell model the other night(bought in 1999). Wow. I used to use this thing? :shakehead

It probably also has half the runtime, and the larger reflector on the Fenix means more throw.

The Nitecore would be easier to carry.

It's amazing how bright lights are now.
